Napwise Privacy Notice (Website & Waitlist)

Napwise is building a private, on-device sleep & routine copilot for parents. This notice covers our website at napwise.ai and our waitlist only. We’ll publish a separate Product Privacy Addendum before the app launches.
In brief...
- This notice only covers our website and waitlist, not the future app.
- We collect your email for the waitlist and use standard logs to run the site.
- We do not sell your data or use third-party ad trackers.
- Our future app will be private by default and run on your device.
Who we are
Napwise (contact: privacy@napwise.ai or support@napwise.ai) is the controller for website and waitlist data.
What we collect
- Waitlist info: your email address and any optional fields you submit (e.g., due/birth month, device platform). We use double opt-in.
- Service & security logs: standard web logs from our host/CDN (IP address, user-agent, timestamps) to operate and secure the site.
- Basic analytics: We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool to understand page performance. This includes aggregated data like page views, button clicks, and referral sources. We do not use cross-site tracking, ad cookies, or fingerprinting techniques.
How we use your information
- Send the waitlist confirmation and product updates you requested.
- Operate, secure, and improve the website (e.g., detect abuse, measure performance).
- Respond to your messages and manage subscriptions/unsubscribes.
Lawful bases (for EU/UK visitors)
- Consent – for the waitlist and marketing emails (you can withdraw anytime).
- Legitimate interests – to run a secure, functioning website.
Sharing & processors
We don’t sell your personal data or run third-party advertising. We use trusted service providers (“processors”) to run our website and waitlist. Our primary processors include Cloudflare for hosting/CDN and ConvertKit for managing our email list. They process data on our instructions and are bound by contract to keep it secure.
Cookies
We use a minimal number of cookies to operate and secure our website. For example, our email form provider (ConvertKit) may use a cookie to prevent spam and manage form display. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
International transfers
Our processors may store data in the United States or other countries. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or similar safeguards.
Retention
- Waitlist data is kept until you unsubscribe or we no longer need it, then deleted from active systems (backups roll off per provider policy).
- Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
Your choices & rights
- Unsubscribe anytime using the link in our emails.
- Request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data by emailing privacy@napwise.ai. EU/UK/EEA and California residents have additional rights under local law.
Children’s privacy
This website is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We protect data in transit (HTTPS) and limit access to systems. No internet service can be 100% secure, but we work to reduce risk (e.g., TLS, HSTS, security headers, and reputable providers).
About our AI (for the upcoming product)
Our app is designed to be private by default. The core AI and personalization features will run directly on your. For optional Pro features that use a cloud-based AI model, we will require your explicit, in-the-moment consent for each query. The information sent is limited to a short, non-sensitive summary of the immediate task and is never used to train third-party models. More details will be in our Product Privacy Addendum at launch.
Changes
We’ll update this page if our practices change. We’ll post a new “Last updated” date and, if changes are material, we’ll notify waitlist subscribers.
